Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer and is becoming a significant player in the specialty coffee industry. Brazil used as a base in Espresso blends produces more crema while adding sweetness and providing a great backdrop for the feature coffees. Mexican |
Mexico is one of the largest producers of certified organic coffees. Mexican coffees are worth exploring for the variety of cup characteristics they present. Widely available in our organic section. The cup, especially at the darker roast levels has a heavy chocolate character with traces of almond and a strongly fruited backdrop. Lighter roasts have an apricot brandy flavor, and fresh almond roast tone. |

Papua New Guinea |
Papua New Guinea (PNG) is a distinct coffee among the Indonesians, even though it doesn't even have an entire island to call its own. While a lighter body than Javas, good PNG has the delicate notes, complexity, and sometimes the acidity or brightness of the best Central Americans. |
